Roure Chapel

The Capella del Roure (Oak Chapel) is a small Romanesque chapel with a rectangular layout that was transferred to this new site stone by stone and consecrated by the Bishop of Vic on 8 September 2011.

Previously located in Carrer Freixenet, the place where, as legend has it, the image of Our Lady of the Oak was discovered, it was built by the owners of Casa Campa as a place to hold funeral vigils and celebrate Mass for the Feast of the Mare de Déu. The chapel is an ancient pilgrimage oratory located on the road that leads out of town.
