Beget
Beget, considered one of the most charming villages in Catalonia, remains virtually untouched by time and retains the natural and rural beauty of its beginnings.
With stone as a key element, the town is characterised by its cobbled streets, two medieval bridges, and the Romanesque Church of Sant Cristòfol, which has become a major cultural attraction for the area.
The peace and tranquillity that emanates from every corner of the village make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
It is noteworthy that Beget has been declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest (BCIN) in the category of Historical Heritage and has received the distinction of the tourist brand of Charming Villages by the Catalan Tourism Agency. An acknowledgment that only 14 villages have been obtained in Catalonia, 5 of them in the Girona region.
