Camprodon is one of the most popular rural tourist destinations in the Catalan Pyrenees and, as such, offers visitors a wealth of activities and local traditions that have been instrumental in turning the municipality into the excellent base for exploring the region that it is today.

Gastronomy
No trip to Camprodon would be complete without tasting some of its local gourmet products. Sample the Valley’s cured meats and sausages, cheeses, veal and colt meat, Birba biscuits and Trumfa potatoes and be taken on a gastronomic journey through our lands. Camprodon and its Valley are especially famed for high quality, traditional dining.
The towns
The Vila de Camprodon is the municipal capital and is surrounded by other urban centres and neighbourhoods with their own distinctive personalities and characteristics. Fall in love with the picture-postcard village of Beget, wander among the ruins of Rocabruna, enjoy the nature and fauna of Cavallera and explore the history of Salarsa as you discover the towns and villages of our municipality. Specifically, the Vila de Camprodon comprises the Estabanell Colony, the neighbourhood of Cavallera, the grand houses of Mariner, Sitjar and Resclusanys, the neighbourhood of Freixenet, the residential area of Font Rubí, and in the Alta Garrotxa region, the villages of Rocabruna and Beget. Bolós, Bestraçà, Font Rubí and Creixenturri also form part of the municipality.
